Job Description

Mission of the Role: 

Promote brand awareness and support sales of M3’s services, positioning M3 as a thought leader in the healthcare industry, and enabling efficient business processes and provide detailed, accurate information to key stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for effectively promoting the following service lines under the business unit: Medical Communications, Media, Education, and Market Research, working with stakeholders to define strategies for each department and implementing the marketing plans to deliver tangible opportunities for revenue growth.

Marketing Strategy:

  • Own marketing initiatives across all departments, incorporating the full marketing mix, on and offline
  • Oversee the deployment of robust, measurable social media campaigns, sharing library, new, and bespoke content to grow audience size and associated revenue
  • Develop multi-touch campaigns that incorporate social media platforms, landing pages, email, and website content to promote funnel conversion and drive marketing qualified leads
  • Working closely with the sales team to:
  1. Advocate strategic and intelligent CRM usage, providing training where required
  2. Design and develop goal-oriented campaigns, with measurable KPIs
  3. Drive prospect nurturing initiatives to support the growth of unbudgeted revenue
  4. Launch new products and services to market, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to develop needs-led multichannel marketing content
  5. Encourage client centricity through all touchpoints, using the full marketing mix to reach client stakeholders at all levels
  6. Measure CRM performance at an individual level, identifying areas of improvement, and opportunities for account growth


  • Manage and maintain the marketing department’s portal on the company’s shared drive, providing access to collateral and supporting resources to all stakeholders
  • Deliver quarterly meetings and annual kick off meetings, measuring effectiveness, and making recommendations to the leadership team based on the results of structured evaluations
  • Prepare quarterly reports on group activities, for distribution up to MD and CEO
  • Manage departmental Teams updates channels, curating content and ensuring varied, and representative communications
  • Support the HR team on the marketing strategy to improve staff retention and engagement, and develop the M3 ‘employer brand’
  • Work closely with the Community marketing team to produce insight-led collateral


  • Collaborate with all teams across all departments to ensure that all internal and client-facing touchpoints are consistent communicate M3 in the best possible light
  • Coordinate client-facing content across all stakeholder teams to ensure maximum ROI for all content pieces

Thought Leadership:

  • Position M3 and the business units’ departments as industry thought leaders, using data-driven insights to inform, educate, and challenge
  • Leverage M3 intelligence to drive industry change and widespread adoption of best practices
  • Design thought leadership initiatives that drive sales leads and are supported by multichannel marketing campaigns that measure ROI


  • Be an active and engaged member of the M3 team, representing marketing at all departmental meetings to ensure close collaboration
  • Ensure that marketing delivers highest quality materials, in line with business needs, encouraging a culture of constant learning



  • Knowledge of market research practices and techniques
  • Knowledgeable on principles, practices and techniques of marketing strategies
  • Experience analysing data
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Budget and cost analysis experience
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Project management experience
  • Experience running large scope projects with cross-over departments and large teams
  • Personable and confident
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to write and present clearly and logically to all levels of the business team
  • Commercially aware
  • Able to demonstrate leadership skills through interactions with stakeholders


  • Degree level or above in Marketing or similar
  • SEO certification is desired but not essential
  • 5-10 years industry experience
