This role is part of QQFS, a Gothenburg based fieldwork agency and a wholly owned subsidiary of M3 Inc. QQFS is a leading provider of data-collection services for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. We specialize in conducting both qualitative and quantitative market research in The Nordics and Benelux regions, in addition to Austria and Switzerland.

Job Description

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive innovative and dynamic solutions which will exploit the new business opportunities across the healthcare sectors and support our plans for growth and expansion.

This is an ideal opportunity for those with a track record of winning new business, ability to build long-standing and successful relationships with clients, and with proven negotiation and research skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Including, but not limited to the following: 

  • Prospect and sell solutions by developing sales strategies while maintaining our high-quality standards. 
  • Developing new approaches to expand and enhance product and service offerings within and across the lines of business to meet customer needs and fill gaps.
  • Seek out and source new clients by developing networks and independently identifying and developing relevant resources for sales and business development. 
  • Developing and maintaining a strong work relationship with key opinion leaders and prospective customers in the market research industry by attending industry conferences, trade fairs and exhibition.
  • Consult with Marketing for internal and client audiences across all mediums including social media and business development campaigns. 
  • Has a good understanding of the competitive landscape. Keeps informed as to industry updates and networks effectively to identify new business opportunities.
  • Understands research methods and methodologies along with regulatory requirements. Comprehends client objectives and can offer guidance around the research options available. Speaks confidently when delivering a proposal to a client.
  • Uses the CRM proficiently to log all sales activity – calls, proposals, meetings. Produces, maintains new business strategy plans.
  • Takes full ownership of individual financial goals. Able to provide an accurate weekly and monthly sales forecast when requested. 
  • Responsible for the delivery of high quality, timely and accurately priced bids that reflect the quantified needs and research objectives of the client.
  • Schedule and conduct internal and external project kick off calls, to discuss the scope and background details with the programme management team. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure top level client experience in all cases of client interactions from delivery to needs assessments. 

Qualifications

  • Proven B2B sales record, ideally within the market research healthcare or pharmaceutical industry 
  • Ability to network and build strong, reciprocal relationships with clients at all seniority levels.
  • Proactive and passionate about delivering great customer service for both clients and team, with a desire to exceed expectations.
  • Adept at using technological resources including MS Office (including Excel) and an aptitude for web-based tools
  • Highly organized, analytical, and quality-focused with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines concurrently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Reacts to change productively and displays a solutions-driven approach.
  • Strong teamwork ethic with an ability to complete tasks independently, resourcefully, and proactively.

  • 25 days Annual leave entitlement
  • You will be eligible to participate in the quarterly bonus scheme upon completion of your probationary period. This will be paid quarterly once probation has been passed.
  • You will be entitled to all statutory benefits as required by Swedish law, plus 25 days’ annual leave plus public holidays, Pension scheme (4,5% employer contribution) and Group Life insurance, covering payments for Life insurance, loss of income if you are not able to work due to sickness (sjukförsäkring) and injury when working (Olycksfallsförsäkring).
