Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a C# Developer to join RotaMaster.

Job Description

RotaMaster, is a subsidiary of M3 Inc., which has been providing online workforce management tools to health & care organisations since 1999.  We’re always growing our product offering and moving into new markets and have two core products on the market – RotaMaster and Rotify.

Currently our stack is migrating from a .NET / MSSQL environment to a more hybrid stack mixing in Vue, React and Node.js for front end development and microservice / SOA designs to allow interoperability, but we continually evaluate new tools and technologies and add them to the stack where they add value. We use a mixture of Azure, AWS, Docker and Serverless, with an emphasis on good design to introduce flexibility. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to company quality assurance by following best practices, standards & guidelines and software development lifecycle. Identifying and implementing any work process improvements.
  • Improve application quality by employing continuous integration and unit testing, improving unit test coverage.
  • Work on daily project and non-project related tasks.
  • Take part in project planning workshops, liaising with the Team Leader, Product Owner and the End User (where necessary), confirming objectives and specifications to deliver on time and to budget.
  • Help produce detailed specifications and design for projects employing appropriate technologies that are in line with the company’s preferred technical architecture.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies through self-training and reading.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Object-Oriented Analysis and Design skills.
  • .Net Skills, C#.
  • RDBMS skills – SQL Server, Oracle or Postgres.
  • The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Git source code management.

Desirable

  • .Net Core skills, namely building Restful APIs with ASP and .Net Core.
  • Experience with Continuous integration / Continuous deployment.
  • Understanding of Agile and TDD
  • React, Vue or Angular.
  • SignalR, Node.js, Express.
  • Good UI / UX skills.
  • Docker.
  • Javascript / Typescript.
  • Atlassian tooling (Jira).
