Job Description
Mission of the Role:
This newly created position will lead our M&A deal team efforts across Europe. This individual will be a hands-on member of the UK/Ireland deal team ensuring a high conversion rate from Indicative Offer stage through to deal closing. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the M&A sector and can contribute to our acquired growth strategy. This individual will report into the Senior Vice President of M&A team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help scan and source future M&A targets
- Maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis support for potential M&A / partnership targets
- Help develop presentation materials for M&A deals (powerpoint and excel)
- Gathering, analyzing and presenting target company information to the M&A team and company executives
- Assisting in the later stages of the process as appropriate: e.g., supporting due diligence, assisting with Investment Memorandum, providing continuity of relationship etc.
- Manage and expand an existing prospect funnel of opportunities
- Liaise with senior business leaders in finance, legal, tax, and others to ensure seamless deal execution using a solid grasp of acquisition principles and investment objectives.
Qualifications
- Ambitious with a drive to succeed and drive through results
- Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in an M&A role with hands-on experience in closing M&A mid-market transactions
- Experience in mid-market acquisition activities, including but not limited to financial modelling & valuation, due diligence, support in negotiating & closing transactions.
- Proven experience completing mid – market transactions.
- Healthcare sector experience is a plus.
