Job Description

The Global Panel Director role’s primary function is to lead the worldwide panel growth strategy, improving the performance, quality and responsiveness of the healthcare professional and patient panels.  The Global Panel Director is responsible for ensuring that plans to drive the recruitment of new panel members, and engagement of existing panelists, are designed, tested and delivered, maximising the effectiveness of the recruitment campaigns, optimising their return on investment across the different M3 divisions and supporting the corporate strategic initiatives to increase M3’s profitability and growth.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Team management responsibilities

  • Lead the global panel team including the management, development and appraisal of team members
  • Encourage a team culture of continuous improvement across all initiatives, ensuring results are measured and analysed, and recommendations are actionable
  • Work with the engineering team to utilise technology and drive innovation across panel-related tools and systems, creating efficiencies and improving panel team performance
  • Ensure that the agreed global panel team KPIs are achieved
  • Lead the panel integration of acquired businesses to ensure best practices and servicing are continued through the transition period
  • Formulate and implement the panel integration strategy continuously looking at areas for improvement throughout the post-acquisition phases
  • Champion a culture of compliance throughout the organisation and ensure panel team members comply with external regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures

Panel Growth

  •  Overall responsibility for the design and deployment of strategies to grow and maintain the M3 Global Research panel
  • Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to develop and expand the M3 Global Research panel’s reach, in line with evolving business needs
  • Control the panel growth budget and measure engagement and acquisition by channel and tactic, ensuring that campaigns yield proportionate return on investment
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to understand business needs and prioritise panel building in areas where there is higher commercial opportunity

Panel engagement

  • Create, develop and maintain multiple communication channels serving panel communities to improve engagement, and ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Deliver a measurable improvement in panel response rates
  • Oversee and develop multichannel panel marketing programs, deploying a broad range of tactics designed to recruit, engage and retain respondents for market research studies
  • Innovate and adapt the user journey, ensuring exceptional user experience across all panel touchpoints
  • Implement a best in class rewards and incentives program designed to improve panel engagement
  • Oversee customer support service operations, ensuring high quality interactions and rapid responses

Panel quality

  • Lead the panel quality initiatives, ensuring that processes for verification and validation at panel and project level are appropriate, rigorous, and best in class

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or relevant fields
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience managing market research panels in US and European markets
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of the market research industry and operations
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence
  • Able to make decisions, take ownership and accept accountability
  • Strong ability to manage time and work independently
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
