Job Description

The Operations Executive’s aim will be to ensure seamless running of the Live Operations functions & administration, whilst supporting and working alongside the Senior Operations Manager to improve the departments offering and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to the following:

Commercial campaign deployment, promotion, and traffic-driving operations

  • Work alongside the Operations Manager in the building, and the delivery of, commercial campaigns’ promotional and traffic-driving tactics to all M3 members
  • Manage the creation, scheduling, and delivery of Solus emails and other HTML bulk emails
  • Assisting AdOps Executive with operational administration
  • To ensure campaigns are deployed bug-free and in a timely manner, e.g. testing tracking, deployments of live campaigns to the platform, and tracking performance against engagement KPIs
  • Live tracker maintenance and data entry – both project information and campaign engagement metrics
  •  To look for operational improvements and efficiencies in the Live Operations team, using problem solving skills and wider company knowledge
  • To be responsible for campaign KPI setting (with support from Data team), working with CommEx and Sales team to communicate changes to KPI

Project resourcing

  • To organize and allocate internal resource to our commercial projects, ensuring work is assigned in a timely manner
  • To manage the internal resource diary and trackers, ensuring they are continually up to date and accurate
  • To coordinate and communicate with all external freelancers and contractors, including the management of invoices and POs
  • To lead and manage our internal daily huddles, ensuring the internal teams have everything they need to work on jobs assigned to them
  • To escalate resourcing and capacity issues to the Project Management team, problem solving and providing solutions where possible

Education and Training Required:

  • Educated to degree level or above

Minimum Experience: 

  • 1 or 2 years in an administrative/operational role
  • Experience of data entry using Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with digital media and online advertising

Knowledge, Skill, Ability:

  • Ability to process a high volume of project information quickly and accurately
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Methodical with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a creative problem solver
  • A passion for learning new skills & systems (experience with Google DFP and HTML is beneficial but not essential)
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • An interest in data and analytics, with good analytical skills
  • Ability to understand business opportunities and deliver/reprioritise in order to maximise revenues and customer service
