This new role of Payroll Administrator forms a key part of the Central Services function supporting a portion of the M3 Business Units and their growing business needs.

This is a part-time position 0.6 FTE - with flexibility in how the hours are made up during the week.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Payroll Manager in the day to day running of UK and EU payrolls, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with external payroll providers, ensuring all changes are accurately captured, updated and processed in payroll each month.
  • Processing starters & leavers.
  • Work with the Finance Team to ensure all payments are made on time.
  • Respond to employee queries relating to payroll.
  • Assist with the monthly pension submissions for UK.
  • Assisting with the End of Year process.



  • Comfortable working to deadlines and at times under time constraints.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with good analytical & numerical skills.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service (strong written and verbal communications skills).
  • Proven work experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role would be advantageous.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and proactively work on own initiative.
  • An understand of the need for diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • A flexible approach to work.
