This new role of Payroll Administrator forms a key part of the Central Services function supporting a portion of the M3 Business Units and their growing business needs.
This is a part-time position 0.6 FTE - with flexibility in how the hours are made up during the week.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist the Payroll Manager in the day to day running of UK and EU payrolls, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Liaise with external payroll providers, ensuring all changes are accurately captured, updated and processed in payroll each month.
- Processing starters & leavers.
- Work with the Finance Team to ensure all payments are made on time.
- Respond to employee queries relating to payroll.
- Assist with the monthly pension submissions for UK.
- Assisting with the End of Year process.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Comfortable working to deadlines and at times under time constraints.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with good analytical & numerical skills.
- Commitment to excellent customer service (strong written and verbal communications skills).
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role would be advantageous.
- Good IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills and proactively work on own initiative.
- An understand of the need for diplomacy and confidentiality.
- A flexible approach to work.
